Welcome to the Indiana Chapter of APCO. The Association of Public-Safety
Communications Officials - APCO International - is the world's oldest and
largest not-for-profit professional organization dedicated to the enhancement of
public safety communications. With more than 15,000 members around the world,
APCO International exists to serve the people who manage, operate, maintain, and
supply the communications systems used to safeguard the lives and property of
citizens everywhere.
The Indiana Chapter of APCO was founded more than 65
years ago, and since then we've been joining public safety professionals
together throughout the state. By hosting statewide quarterly meetings, regional
conferences and the 1935 and 2003 national conferences, we've been bringing new
information, ideas and training to those individuals. We have provided this web
site as a quick reference to activities and contacts in our chapter. The purpose
of this website is to serve our members and those interested in joining
APCO.
If you need more information about APCO, please e-mail us at info@indyapco.org.

CHECK OUT OUR MEETING SCHEDULE
Is your FCC radio license in compliance with the narrowbanding
mandate?
Don't wait until the last
minute. Failure to file by the January 1st, 2013 deadline could subject you to
FCC enforcement actions, which may include fines or loss of your
license.
Contact AFC and provide us with
a list of your call signs. We can perform a quick review at no charge and let
you know if they are in compliance. If your licenses need to be narrowbanded,
update them today and take advantage of APCO's special narrowbanding
rates!
Call 1-888-APCO-911
(888-272-6911) and ask for AFC or send an email to afc@apcointl.org.
